A new chapter begins December 2026 · Online therapy across Michigan
Therapy services
Online individual therapy for teens ages 13 and up and adults across Michigan.
If you're feeling overwhelmed, questioning yourself, navigating a difficult change, or trying to make sense of experiences that still feel heavy, therapy can offer space to slow down, understand yourself, and find a way forward that feels like yours.
Feel less overwhelmed.
Make sense of anxiety and depression, or other experiences that still feel heavy. Together, we can explore patterns and find practical ways to meet the day.
Build a better relationship with yourself.
Learn to recognize your needs, set boundaries, and trust yourself without losing yourself in all that you've been carrying. Get curious about what you want, what you need, and what matters to you.

Navigate what's changing.
Work through relationships, life transitions, and the decisions that come with them. Make space to understand what you want, what you need, and what matters to you as you figure out what comes next.
Understand yourself differently.
ADHD can affect more than attention. It may influence organization, emotional regulation, follow-through, and how you see yourself. Together, we can explore how ADHD affects your everyday life, find strategies that work with your needs, and move away from the idea that you simply need to try harder.
Make space for what happened.
You don't have to tell your entire story all at once to begin working through trauma. Therapy can help you understand how past experiences may still affect your emotions, relationships, and sense of safety. We'll move at a pace that respects your needs, with room to build trust and explore what feels manageable.
Support for teens finding their way.
Growing up can bring a lot to figure out: friendships, school, family expectations, identity, and where you fit. Therapy gives teens ages 16 and up a space to talk openly, make sense of what they're experiencing, and develop skills for navigating anxiety, relationships, self-worth, and change.
A conversation.
A collaboration.
Your own pace.
Therapy doesn't have to follow a rigid formula. Some sessions may involve processing what's been weighing on you. Other times, we might explore a familiar pattern, practice a new skill, or work through a decision you're facing.
I draw from different therapeutic approaches and tailor our work to you, your experiences, and what you're hoping to change. You don't have to fit into a particular approach. We'll figure out together what feels useful and meaningful for you.
You're the expert on your experience. I'll bring curiosity, support, and clinical guidance as we explore the next steps together.
-
We'll explore the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, noticing patterns that may be contributing to distress and identifying ways to respond differently.
-
We'll practice slowing down and noticing thoughts, emotions, and physical sensations in the present moment, creating more room to respond with intention rather than automatically reacting.
-
Your experiences, perspective, and values matter. I aim to create a space where you feel understood and respected as you explore what you want, what you need, and who you want to be.
-
We'll explore patterns that may have developed over time, including how past experiences and relationships can influence your feelings, choices, and relationships today.
-
When appropriate for your needs, I may recommend Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help you work with distressing memories and experiences. We'll discuss whether EMDR is a good fit and what to expect before deciding how to proceed.
Questions about getting started
-
It's completely understandable to feel nervous about starting something unfamiliar. You don't need a specific goal, the perfect words, or a clear idea of where to begin. We can start with what's bringing you here and figure things out together, at a pace that feels manageable.
-
We'll talk about what brings you to therapy, what's been happening in your life, and what you hope might change. I'll ask about relevant parts of your background and experiences, help guide the conversation, and make space for your questions. Together, we'll begin identifying goals that feel meaningful to you.
-
Sessions take place through the SimplePractice Client Portal and telehealth app. You'll need a reliable internet connection and a phone, tablet, or computer, along with a private space where you can speak comfortably. Before your first appointment, you'll receive instructions for accessing the portal and joining your session. Online therapy is available to eligible clients located in Michigan during sessions.
Let’s start with a conversation.
You don't need to have everything figured out to take the first step.
A free 15-minute phone or video consultation is an opportunity to ask questions, share a little about what you're looking for, and get a sense of whether working together feels right.
